| The eGovernments Foundation is one of India’s premiere organisations that assists and enables Urban Local Bodies in their eGovernance implementation. |
The eGov Suite is built on n-tier web architecture with a common browser based interface as the front end. The focus of The eGovernments Foundation is that our development efforts, where possible, will use the benefits of standards-based open source software including Java / J2EE(JBoss) as our Java Application Server, Web Server (Apache/Tomcat), Reports(Jasper), the Application Development Environment via Eclipse, Struts (MVC Controller), Hibernate for object to relational mapping. We use MySQL as our Relational Database (we also support other proprietary databases). Our data exchange layer and integration components are enabled via XML, SOAP and associated Web Services.
